"What a pleasant afternoon. My daughter had come over from West Palm Beach and asked me if we could go and grab a bite to eat here in Lake Placid. I informed her that most of the places were closed because it was almost 2 PM but I had heard of the new tea room in town and asked her if she would like to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. There were just a few customers inside as they were closing at 3 PM and we were treated to a wonderful lunch. The staff was just incredible and friendly and very informative, as well as engaging. I ordered the special which was a shrimp pasta that came with a broccoli and cheddar cheese soup as well as a nice side salad. My daughter ordered the tea tray assortment and we both opted for a fresh hot pot of tea. The tea was shared and was absolutely delicious, while all of the food was wonderful. We had such a nice afternoon as it rained outside and beat down on the metal roof. we were also treated to a harpist who occasionally picked up his violin and gave us some wonderful songs. He engaged us as well and we had another delightful conversation. Dessert was a homemade cheesecake that was nice and creamy. Very yummy and topped with blueberries. Pricing was in line with a typical tea room, which is a little bit higher than a normal lunch, but this was well worth it for the experience. I hardly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice change of pace in the town of Lake Placid. #stevensleavin"

"Took my mom for a late lunch. We were able to be seated right away. They recommended the purple Iris tea and we both agreed it was delightful. Sweet but not too sweet. Had the chicken salad sandwich which came on a croissant so yummy and creamy! We ended with a strawberry cheesecake that was out of this world!!! You can tell everything is made fresh and with love. Highly recommend for your next girls outting!"

"This was the first time I visited here and my granddaughter and I had an awesome time! The atmosphere is fantastic. The food was very good and the tea was phenomenal. What a great time we had for a lunch date. I had the chicken salad sandwich on croissant and my granddaughter had the turkey sandwich both were delicious. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family!"
