“Brilliant nursery, The nursery is very spacious and the rooms are great. Very clean and with underfloor heating which is great for crawling babies and kids playing on the floor. My 28 months old boy used to hate going to the nursery but after moving to St Margaret he can't wait to go there. They have a big garden area to use and an indoor softplay area which is ideal when the weather is horrible. Great communication with staff and managers. No problems at all.”

“My son has been attending Big Bird Nursery for almost two years and has loved every minute of it. The team are very helpful, professional and responsive. They demonstrate excellent care and attention to each child individually and provide regular updates so you can see what your little one has been up to during the day as well as how they are developing. “Had a great experience with BoConcept Edinburgh recently! I’ve been struggling with the layout of a small living area and didn’t quite know which way to go. I initially popped in to check out sofas in the sale and had a great chat in store with Ellen. She offered to mock up a few layouts to help me visualise the options and we spoke about budget and general colours/styles. I sent in a few pictures and the key dimensions and then had a short consultation with her in store which was really helpful as she’d pre-selected some great options which were laid out ready to discuss. She’d clearly listened and picked items, colours & fabrics to suit my tastes and budget (using them cleverly) and even hunted down an ex-display chair for me to keep in budget! Felt listened to, really well looked after, supported not pressured and have a much better result than I’d have achieved on my own and feel like I’ve got great value. Add in an interest free credit option and it’s a great service for some very smart stuff. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Ellen, you were super!”

“Lovely location for afternoon tea. We had such a great time, the room is beautiful, service is superb and the food is delicious. You get unlimited tea with the afternoon tea service and for those who would rather have coffee, it is also an option. The tea pouring is so much fun to watch.”

“Small but fun for young kids play on climbing frames and chutes, small football/basketball area and an under 2s sensory area. The small and well organised cafe area gives adult and kids alike various bites to eat all in all a nice place to visit on a chilly day. Back again but on a day that had minus 7 they need to have heating up a degree or two and put it up or on in the baby changing area as it was pretty cold there all in all its a business trying hard to meet the bills as we all are.”

The toys and facilities for the children are brilliant and kept our pretty enthusiastic 2 year old captivated for a solid couple of hours, before a very long nap after! Can't wait to come back soon”

“Many sections with interactive play. A dress up area and a small soft play, too. Loads to get small ones' imaginations going and tire them out. Adults can join in with their wee ones. It is £1 per adult entering the place. There is a cafe with children and adult portions of snacks. Some lovely home bakes and good selection of hot and cold drinks. All reasonably priced.”

The showroom offers a good range of products and installation ideas, with acceptable range of appliances and fittings such as sinks, water taps and handles. Sales effort was exemplary, delivery service friendly and on time. Installation was highly professional. I may have been dealt a full house but investigating this service would be worthwhile.”

“Great softplay, but it really is time for the stakeholders of the industrial estate to properly repair the road coming in to it. The section under the bridge is now so bad that cars will inevitably be damaged. My car exhaust took a knock coming in today.”

“We had a birthday party here and the kids all had a great time! It was really good value for money, the kids had plenty to eat and drink and the party games were basic but broke up the free play. They catered for allergies really well so those kids didn't feel left out, and supplied party bags too. Overall I'd highly recommend having a birthday party here.”

Deliver took a couple of weeks but was informed of the tracking etc. When came very well wrapped. Was easy to put together and very strong once completed. Little boy was so excited helping me build his new bed. He loves going to bed in a big boys bed now. :) Would totally recommended”

As a Diamond member, I stay in many Hilton properties in the U.S., and they'd do well to spend a week at this establishment to see how a hotel should be run. “Solid experience. Went here for lunch from start to finish it was absolutely phenomenal. Chicken terrine had excellent texture, and the cod was amazing. You can tell the chef gave an intimate detail on the dishes he makes. Yes it is pricey its an upscale restaurant but the quality and the food speaks for itself.”
