Lisa DiFebo, the owner, was inspired by her father's restaurant in Wilmington and her uncle's fish market and restaurant. After honing her skills in various local restaurants, Lisa opened up her own place in Bethany Beach, starting off as a small deli serving the best breakfast in town. With the help of her family, including her dad Bob, mom Charlotte, sister Michelle, and brother Bobbie, Lisa's restaurant quickly became a success. She later attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York, where she met her future husband Jeff Osias. Jeff, who also had a wealth of culinary experience from around the country and the world, joined Lisa at DiFebo's and brought new flavors and ideas to the menu.
