“My husband and I have visited Spice Garden on a couple of occasions. We always enjoy the food and service. This was our first time visiting on a Wednesday for the ‘all you can eat’ buffet. The whole experience was amazing. It was really great to try different foods (that I wouldn’t usually order) and the price of $23 per person is extremely reasonable. The staff were super friendly and went the extra mile (as always). One of our group is a coeliac and they kindly cooked her something not on the menu/buffet that evening.”

“As always we had a wonderful night at Charlie’s. The food was fantastic, I may have found a new favourite in the Darwin Gin cured salmon, and the drinks beautiful. But what always tops it off is the service. I have never been able to fault the staff. Service is smooth, staff are friendly, and they create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. An added bonus tonight was hearing the music from the live band waft on through from the terrace bar. Thanks again team Charlie’s for a lovely date night!”

“Amazing place. Came here twice in one week. Eggs Benny with salmon is a solid choice and also the afogado (espresso with ice cream). We were lucky to have Rabina as our server both times and she made the experience even better. Will certainly be back for great food and great service by Rabina.”

Love the atmosphere inside, especially the outside, the view is beautifup as well. It's also a good place for family with kids as they have a play room. And the most popular feature is feish feeding. “Came here on June 25th because I was looking for a somewhere to kill some time before a red eye flight. Loved the live DJ and the service was wonderful - the person taking my order wasn’t aware that the kitchen had closed the fry station but they reopened it to make my fries! It was Sunday night so not super busy, but great vibes and loved the decor! Can see it being busy on prime nights and a fun time!”

“Honestly, what looked unpromising on the outside genuinely lead to the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life. So fresh and crispy! Excellent value for money, very balanced flavours and the tropical fruit smoothies were to die for!!! Honestly, I would just go back for another banana smoothie, it was so good!! The staff were incredibly friendly, and only a short walk from the waterfront precinct, 10/10 would recommend going here for all of your take away fish and chip needs!!”

“We got the salt pepper squid, whole fish in Thai chilli sauce, pork spare rib and choy sum. This is one of the best asian places to dine at in Darwin. Highly recommend to come with your friends to share large dinner (which is the proper asian way anyway!). Prices are pretty reasonable too.”

“There is no doubt the food is just fantastic, if not better. I was lucky enough to be looked after by a young Scottish lass called Stella and she was absolutely amazing. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and she could recommend the most amazing dishes. She made sure we always had a nice cold drink, Stella is amazing, the food is amazing, the atmosphere was perfect. Well done Stella and good luck in Australia!”

“Nice bakery, staff where just closing up as I got there but where kind enough to still take my order and got to sample one of the party pie which are delicious. Food is a little on the expensive side but is so tasty and worth it. Coffee is also, is in a very handy location if staying at the Oaks as is just around the corner and the food is a lot better than the hotels restaurant.”

“We came here to celebrate our last night in Darwin and we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant is located next to the public swimming pool and right along the Nightcliff Foreshore walk. Great place to watch the sunset or grab a bite before walking about 10 min down to enjoy the amazing view at the jetty. We ordered a variety of fish options, all of which were excellent. The service was friendly, but a little on the slower side. Overall, highly recommend!”
