He was seeking feedback of that seafood fried rice but my mate too hesitate to talk and end up saying it was okay Owners service attitude is truly 5 stars to me”

“Best Chinese restaurant in Darwin City. Steamed Fish with Ginger and shallot is so good. Not fishy and very fresh. Their mud crab is also fresh and they have a tank of crabs for display inside the restaurant. Pie Pa Tofu is a must try. Very unique and tasty. The staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. It tastes like home cooked food , full of warmth. The price is affordable as well. It's definitely a place you can't miss !!!”

“Can not fault this venue, although a few feedback points to improve experience. Please have Oysters available on all nights.. have the air-conditioning serviced or install more fans as some tables simply dont have enough air flow. Also I really need the Octopus Salad recipe, it is to die for.”

“The Best Chinese Takeaway Shop for Beef Black Bean in Darwin. Not So Salty like other Takeaway Shops. I Usually buy 3 Large Trays to Eat with my Home Cooked Balsamic Rice. Or Jasmine Rice.”

“Friendly efficient service, busy take away, venue clean, car park at front. Beef salad was excellent, flavoursome and enough grilled beef. Tom yum (yum yum yum) delicious not too salty or spicy, coriander. A bit small for date, and great for fast feed.”

“There is no doubt the food is just fantastic, if not better. I was lucky enough to be looked after by a young Scottish lass called Stella and she was absolutely amazing. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and she could recommend the most amazing dishes. “Tried the chicken & cashew on the off chance it would be ok .. WOW delicious! Best Chinese I’ve had anywhere actually ! So flavourful with fresh veggies cashews & chicken & so reasonably priced! It’s a win win! In fact I’m going to forego a more traditional restaurant tomorrow & go get some more of this yummy food !”

“As always, this place is sensational. $16 for a big plate, and I think $14 for a small. I try to get here when I'm in Darwin. Beef Rendang is great, as is their Kari Ayam (chicken curry), I had mine served on Nasi Goreng. Delicious. The place is a little hard to find, but worth the effort. Beans with coconut curry is great.”

“The duck is the best in Darwin. The price is quite reasonable. The probem is the food can be very, very salty at times. The service is hit and miss depending on whether it's busy and who you got. The ginger scallion sauce is amazing although they can be quite stingy with it.”

“My husband and I have visited Spice Garden on a couple of occasions. We always enjoy the food and service. This was our first time visiting on a Wednesday for the ‘all you can eat’ buffet. The whole experience was amazing. It was really great to try different foods (that I wouldn’t usually order) and the price of $23 per person is extremely reasonable. The staff were super friendly and went the extra mile (as always). One of our group is a coeliac and they kindly cooked her something not on the menu/buffet that evening.”

“Absolutely amazing. We are on holidays in Darwin and didn’t know the restaurant had just opened, it was a great find. The food was delicious, there was a lot of choice ! “Delicious and worth the drive. Peking Duck! Huge serving of three dishes. Grilled Duck with tortilla-type wrap with dark sweet sauce, light soup (no salt or overwhelming flavours, and wide rice noodles with duck meat. One Peking Duck dish is enough for 2 or three. I ordered the pips beans and had to take it home. Pre-order the Peking Duck and book large table, a table for two will not be enough. BYO possible, great for catching up or Foodie dates.”
