Dingle Electric Bike Experience

● Closed
Main Street, Dingle V92 D456, Ireland

“By renting an e-bike discovering Dingle becomes easy: you’re being supported going uphill or against the wind, you’re able to travel the small roads, stopping where you want. Also, there is no such thing as “driving the wrong way”: it is all “discovering new ways”. Tip: on a clear day use a sun blocker (even 1st of Septembre) as the sky is so clear and without dust, the uv will get to you. (And don’t venture into the mist). The service by Dingle Electic Bike was great, very helpful and attentive to detail.”

“Did order a wetsuit on the internet. Did receive the order very quick. It was a bit too big for my son so I had to send it back. Refund was applied immediately! Very happy with the quick service and accessibility by mail!”

Tuck Shop

● Closed
, Dingle V93 VE48, Ireland

“Decided to drop in for a gander at the TuckShop as I've never passed a motorbike/gear shop in my life without sticking my nose in for a look-about. I generally swing more towards the Adv Klim/Rev-it gear myself so not really familiar with the cafe racer end of town, but I gotta say I was really impressed with the quality of the jackets, gloves, boots etc. Really well made, some beautiful high end solid top-grain leather and properly lined and stitched, so defo protective, long-life gear with style. The photos on the website really don't do the gear justice, especially the leather jackets. All of it was fairly priced in my opinion considering the quality level. The TuckShop has a great selection of gear leaning towards European styling with a strong hint of Amercana. It's certainly a different ball game to what I'm used to and a really nice change of gear from the usual offerings in most Irish motorbike shops. I certainly left feeling I may need a facelift at some stage after I work through my midlife crises ADV phase. It's defo a great spot for gentleman riders who are not mud maniacs, preferring to be well dressed and have the option of chatting up some of the locals rather than scare 'em ;) Alex (the shop owner) is a life long time biker himself so obviously knows what he's about and great for a bit of tyre kicking after buying a couple of items as I did. The shop itself is up a lane on the way out to Dingle about 5 mins ride out from Castlemaine and well worth a trip out for the stunning views across the Slieve Mish Mountains alone. It's by appointment only at the moment but don't be shy and give Alex a call if having a ride out to Dingle and want to drop in for the feely-feely-touchy-touchy try before you buy thing. And if like me you do end up buying something but don't have room on the bike Alex is more than happy to post it home for you. I'll be back for more no doubt..”
