Kinsale Yoga Centre
● Open“25 March 2018, second day walking #fromheretorome, walking from West Cork to Rome with a harp on your back. It's of course harder than I'd like to admit. But I made it! We're playing a 'Harp Meditation' for the Sunday class @ Kinsale Yoga Centre. A small group in a modern space, small and comfortable, upstairs, looking out over a quiet Sunday afternoon street. This afternoon it is an Easy session if you like or what may also be called a Restorative Yoga session. There's a warm atmosphere, peaceful and caring. Afterwards we share a cup of tea and I try and explain what I don't know much about yet, my walk to Rome. It's still so young, so fresh and my feet hurt a lot. Sean the Harp really enjoyed the space, the songs, the admiration and love he received. He says he'd like to come back when we return home. Yeah, I'd like to come back play and spend some time on a mat... ...”

kinsale woolen mills
● Open, Kinsale, Ireland“In Kinsale, too, we met friendly, lovable people everywhere, who were always willing to engage in chats with us. This is also the case in Kinsale Woolen Mills, which is a colorful mix of the "usual suspects" in the Irish souvenir segment on the one hand and sells beautiful woolen items on the other hand, which are worth the visit. Whether sweaters, jackets or the widespread flat caps: Here you can chat with the owner's husband in peace, while your own wife first has to decide what she is enthusiastic about - and how much of it there is still space in a suitcase in the end . There is also plenty of helpfulness in finding the right size, tips for authentic nightlife in Dublin's pubs - and another exciting life story in five minutes. Thank you for this great purchase at Kinsale Woolen Mills - you too loved it!”

Cedar Forest
● Open“Imri was a pleasure to deal with, so efficient and friendly. He did a fantastic job on some stubborn stains on a rocking chair and two mattresses. He made the carpet on the stairs look brand new after 2 years of working from home and it being trampled on daily with shoes on... Fantastic service and very reasonable- would 100% recommend to a friend!”

Bridgeview Farmhouse B&B
● Open“Marian is hands down the best host I've had in a while, she offered us a tea with handmade bread upon arrival, she offered to put a beer in the fridge for whenever we come back from the pub, her breakfast is world class quality and there are plenty of choices, she's good fun too !!! On the other hand some aspects of the bedrooms could use a small refresh. But if you balance everything out.. it's just an amazing place to stay in the area :)”

Perryville House
● Open“We really enjoyed our stay at Perryville House even though we were only in Kinsale for one night. I initially parked in the public lot but the hotel has reserved spacing right in front that they keep roped off for their guests. The staff was very attentive and welcoming and they provided recommendations for food and drink in town. Our room was very nice, clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the harbor. The included breakfast was also delicious and on point. You also cannot beat the location of Perryville House which is centrally located and within a short walking distance of all the shops and pubs. Would definitely stay here again.”

Valley View Bed and Breakfast
● Open, County Cork, Ireland“The owner was amazing and very accomodating. We came in super late (by mistake) and she was very nice about it. Heads up - if you are coming from Kinsale, your GPS will probably work to get you here. If you are coming from the northwest, there is a large section where the GPS no longer connects. We drove around for an extra hour and a half because there are roads without signs as well, so there was no way of really knowing where we were. So written directions with kilometer lengths might be the best way to go if you coming from anywhere other than Kinsale.”

Sheep's Head Accommodation
● Open“We've holidayed at Finn and Claire's superb holiday homes every year since 2018. They are wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful, genuine people. Both properties, The Loft and Masons, are perfectly located, you only have to step outside the front doors and you are on the spectacular Sheep's Head Way. The Loft is perfect for two/three people and has been lovingly restored. It is a home from home with a difference - its balcony affords beautiful views across Dunmanus Bay. This year, friends from France joined us so we stayed in Masons, which was also very comfortable and catered for all our needs - pristine, modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fantastic Wifi and Sky TV, and most importantly, amazing views of the Bay through a large window in the sitting room. In these days of high fuel prices and if you enjoy hiking, once you arrive at either property, you don't need to drive again until you're leaving. However, if you do want a change from hiking, there are lots of places to go including Bantry, Schull, Skibbereen and Glengarriff.”
