“Our dog Alfie got very sick while we were on holiday from the UK. Even though it was on the weekend Alfie was quickly diagnosed and treatment started. Alfie is now fully recovered and I would like to say thanks to all the staff at Glasslyn Bandon involved in Alfie`s excellent care and treatment.”

“What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Gwen is the consummate professional in ensuring that all aspects of your stay are carried out to perfecton. The accommodation itself is beautiful with the most glorious view of the surrounding countryside in this beautiful location. The room is furnished to a high standard with a terrific selection of lovely teas and coffees provided as well. The home cooked breakfast is the finest you'll eat on these islands. I really cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.”

“Lovely welcome at the door. When Foan herd I had nothing to eat all day on the road. Next served with lovely sandwiches and coffee. It was like home from home. The place is also very clean and tidy. I could not highly recommend this place enough. Also the views are stunning. Also an amazing breakfast”

“Marian is hands down the best host I've had in a while, she offered us a tea with handmade bread upon arrival, she offered to put a beer in the fridge for whenever we come back from the pub, her breakfast is world class quality and there are plenty of choices, she's good fun too !!! On the other hand some aspects of the bedrooms could use a small refresh. But if you balance everything out.. it's just an amazing place to stay in the area :)”

The selection of Christmas pet decor, toys and bits and bobs is truly jaw-dropping. I recommend the cat litter made from biodegradable wood chippings.”

“A nice place for a relaxing holiday I spent 10 days in Bandon and I stayed at Ashgrove house. The house is surrounded by a nice garden and you can easily walk to the town centre.The ground floor of the house is really confortable, well furnished with wonderful objects everywhere. Breakfast is served in a very big and cosy kitchen and Noel and Theresa are fantastic hosts always ready to help you. I felt immediately at home!”

“On passing through Bandon yesterday, on my way home to Kinsale, there was a girl (I only wish I had asked her name) on checkouts, that was probably the nicest, most helpful and happiest person I have ever had the pleasure to meet on my way out of any store. She was so pleasant to everyone, and seemed so genuine in her manner, that I really wanted to give her a mention. In these Covid times when supermarket staff seem so ticked off (and who can blame them?!) it was just such a refreshing change. So if you're reading this (I'm the lady with the leaking milk carton, from yesterday afternoon) I just wanted to say thank you to you for brightening my day!”
