“I popped in here on the road from Limerick to Cork as I had to take a work call and needed somewhere that was comfortable and quiet. I went to the restaurant with a request for a cup of coffee and somewhere to take a call. the girl serving at the bar directed me to one of their snug lounges so I would not be interrupted and she would drop the coffee down to me. The service here I found to be exceptional and friendly. so much so, I felt the need to write this review to highlight the kindness and generosity of the staff.”

“Absolutely fantastic. Spotless, generous sized rooms & ensuites. There is a small kitchen area (specially for guests)which makes it very homely. Stocked with plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits. Fabulous breakfast, beautiful breads & scones, fresh juice. Really nice, friendly owner, so helpful. Great location. Take the Limerick rd at the roundabout (at the Fir Grove hotel) as you hit the outskirts of Mitchelstown. It's only a mile or less down there. Will be back again”

“One of the cleanest and quietest campsites I’ve been on. The view of the mountains in the morning is spectacular. Very friendly staff. Toilets, shower, and kitchen area are spotless. A great stay and will be going back there.”

“Great place! Very nice weekend away there. Little pub 5 minutes down the road . nice walks to go on. The homes the self were so nice . they had sky TV WiFi fireplace logs shower and toilet in every room( 3 double beds per cabin) . Its just a great place .”
