“Everything about The SpitJack was enjoyable. The ambience/atmosphere when you walk in is great, a real buzzy space. The interior is so well thought out the details in the decor are fantastic. We were seated upstairs. Staff were extremely courteous and of course the food was excellent. We had a good cross-section of the menu between 4 of us and there were zero complaints. A very worthwhile experience, I'll be back again next time I visit Cork.”

“Just after arriving in Dingle for the new Years weekend - we strolled around the picturesque town and came across this tucked away delightful restaurant. We were walk in’s , but try making a reservation on seasonal events . The lady seemed like an owner was super pleasant and accommodated us (before the dinner rush times) we were seated in the high - booth which was cozy and very clean. Our server was very pleasant and checked in to see if we needed anything … the food arrived which was very hot (heat) and extremely tasty. The place was bustling with families which made it even more enjoyable.”

Do ask ahead for their tequila selection as I found that they were out most of the premium tequila on their list. It’s not just about the drinks - the food is equally impressive, with offerings that are both delicious and authentic. While I loved the food, I must say that during my visit, some of the dishes arrived a bit cold. However, this didn't detract from the flavors, as each dish was packed with mouthwatering sensations that took me straight to the streets of Mexico. In terms of service, it was nothing extraordinary, but still satisfactory. Our waitress was friendly enough, but given that we were flagging her down multiple times to order further dishes, she could have been a bit more attentive. Beyond these minor drawbacks, the atmosphere at Tequila Jacks is spot on. The lively energy and vibrant decor make for a truly fun dining experience. Overall, Tequila Jacks in Cork provides a sensational Mexican culinary journey that is well worth experiencing. “Wow! Great food. We shared a seafood chowder that was one of if not the best seafood chowder I've ever had. I had the Thai Monkfish and Prawns and she had the Fried Prawns and Chips. Both were good. Only negative is the prawns had more batter than we preferred but not excessive. We rounded things out with a beer and a cider. Staff was friendly but there was long wait times. But, worth it. Go try this place if in Dingle.”

“The best food in Baltimore 100% sure! They hace different tastes with interesting recipes: they do from chicken taquitos to mussels with spices or a good chowder. Spoiler: the garlic bread they serve is the best! I totally recommend it because of its quality-price relationship :) You can also walk about 20-30 minutes to get to the Baltimore Beacon.”

We have not stopped raving about the food, service and incredible friendliness of the team including the chef. We sat beside the kitchen and almost had a chef table experience. The atmosphere was incredible, the food was a taste sensation & the interactions with all the team just made it a 10/10 experience.
