Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork
● Open“Have just left from my stay here and I am blown away. I stay in hotels very often and this is officially my top hotel in Ireland. It was lovely to still see the Christmas decorations up. The lobby was stunning, very elegant. Check in was quick and easy and ended up with an upgrade to a suite, we were delighted. They were very friendly at the front desk. The room was perfect. Bed was so comfy. Only fault was that it was very very warm, but we opened a window and it sorted the problem. We had 2 courses included in our stay. Dinner was incredible. Myself and my partner tried different things off the menu and everything was to perfection. We spent the evening relaxing in the room. Breakfast was buffet style which we were pleasantly surprised by. It had all breakfast options and it was delicious. Didn’t get to use the pool or spa facilities but from what we saw they looked great! Overall , we had an amazing time and we will definitely be back. Thank you too all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.”

Cobh Holiday Home
● Open“I had the most enjoyable and comfortable stay at Cobh Holiday Home for more than 2 weeks. The unit is ideally located in front of the harbor – far away from the noise of the town center but a convenient stroll to bistros, pubs, restaurants, shops, a couple of grocery stores, etc. The local train station is a 10 min. walk - hop in and you will be in Cork City within 23 min. The ornate, neo-gothic, St. Colman Cathedral on top of a hill is walkable. The house is well laid out and furnished with all amenities from big screen TV to washer/dryer. The vista from the bay window is spectacular with unobstructed view of the waters and Spike Island. Never a day goes by without an Irish navy boat, cruise ship, or barge, sailing through within waving distance. The maritime pilot boats are kept busy navigating vessels in and out of the harbor. It’s an amazing sight to watch and a perfect way to just chill out. The host was great and accommodating. He is sensitive to the fact that I am a senior traveling solo. He graciously offered a complimentary pick up upon arrival and departure from/to local train station. He was also kind enough to give me a thorough orientation to familiarize me with the town’s layout. It eased the stress out of being a first timer in Ireland. This is definitely a place I would stay again, a kind of host I want to deal with, and a picturesque town I will not hesitate to visit a 2nd time around. I had a memorable vacation. Thanks to the lovely town of Cobh and the friendly locals.”

Sheep's Head Accommodation
● Open“We've holidayed at Finn and Claire's superb holiday homes every year since 2018. They are wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful, genuine people. Both properties, The Loft and Masons, are perfectly located, you only have to step outside the front doors and you are on the spectacular Sheep's Head Way. The Loft is perfect for two/three people and has been lovingly restored. It is a home from home with a difference - its balcony affords beautiful views across Dunmanus Bay. This year, friends from France joined us so we stayed in Masons, which was also very comfortable and catered for all our needs - pristine, modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fantastic Wifi and Sky TV, and most importantly, amazing views of the Bay through a large window in the sitting room. In these days of high fuel prices and if you enjoy hiking, once you arrive at either property, you don't need to drive again until you're leaving. However, if you do want a change from hiking, there are lots of places to go including Bantry, Schull, Skibbereen and Glengarriff.”
