“Anything with "gourmet" in the name makes me suspicious from the get-go. Surprisingly, this place delivers excellent to-go food. The hazelnut tart was delicious.The white chocolate raspberry tart had a nice lemon flavor which made it not too sweet. The chocolate banofee pie was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of banana. We inquired about the croissants and the next day she gave us a fresh one out of the oven: perfectly laminated, crispy with the fresh tell-tale explosion of crumbs. The sausage roll was nicely seasoned and the sausage texture was light, again another perfect pastry. Now let me tell you about the steak pie: delicious peppery gravy and the steak had no resistance whatsoever...it just melted in your mouth. The crust held it all in, but wasn't hard or dry. I don't care what alchemy created that comfort food, but I'm going back for more tomorrow. No, there are no vegetables in it, but my husband says that makes it even more perfect. We like alternative milk substitutes for our cappuccino and those are very difficult to froth. I asked which one they recommended since they have coconut, almond and oat milk. They recommended oat and it was our first perfect cappuccino in a week in Ireland. The froth held the little bubbles and didn't break. The place isn't fancy, but they are doing food right.”

“I had the most pleasant experience when I visited this little gem of a shop in Early September. The coffee is superb not to mention the pieces of jewellery, silk scarves etc.and above all the service. When I arrived back home, I ordered jewellery which was posted to me by registered post together with a beautiful card, hand written thanking me for my purchase and wishing me well.
