Charter Oak Park, located at 50 Charter Oak Street in Manchester, Connecticut, is a popular tourist attraction and park in the town. In 2017, the park underwent $2 million worth of improvements, including new playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, a revamped softball field, a "music garden," and upgraded parking lot and walkways. Additional amenities such as new bathrooms, parking spaces, improved lighting, and video cameras were also added. The park is home to an onsite Gear and Bike Shop, which offers OurParks merchandise, recreational supplies, and hosts programs such as the Yellow Bike and Scooter Program and OurParks Ambassador Program. The park also features a bike and scooter sharing program available on weekdays during the summer months.
