High school college prep in New Haven, Connecticut

Achievement First Amistad High School is a public charter school located in New Haven, Connecticut. We opened our doors in August 2006 with ninth graders and now serve students in grades 9-12. Our school is committed to helping students succeed in college and the workforce, with the goal of 100% of students being accepted into four-year colleges and universities. We offer challenging courses and high expectations, along with support such as SAT prep, college counseling, and tutoring. Our students are encouraged to become leaders in the classroom and beyond, participating in extracurricular activities like dance, music, robotics, and sports. Our strong extracurricular, varsity athletic, and arts programs help students grow as athletes, volunteers, leaders, and citizens of the world.
