CVS Pharmacy

"Horrible people in the pharmacy. They are smug and rude. They not at one time made me feel welcome. I waited in line for 25 min why they all just talked to each other. I'd rather buy drugs on the street"

"This review is only in reference to CVS in Shelton, Connecticut. Horrible experience at the drive-through, total of 27 minute wait time to find out that my prescription that was called in on Monday wasn’t ready on Wednesday because they only had 53 out of 56. No phone call. They wait till I get there to tell me that and then say well now you have to leave the drive-through and go around the building again and get back in line where there were not six cars. I should also mention that two cars in front of me spent 21 minutes at the drive-through, waiting to get their prescriptions filled, even though they were cars behind them. Terrible customer service. Instead of getting back in line for the drive-through, which now has six cars in line, I walked into the store. I was told I had to wait again. I tried to explain that it was called in Monday, and here it was Wednesday afternoon, and it was an antibiotic that I really needed. Plus, I am handicapped and can just barely walk 200 feet. In a not very nice tone, the pharmacy tech said “we are very busy. It should only take another five minutes.” Well, after 10 minutes I left the store. Came back two hours later and after waiting for five people in line ahead of me.(which was now the third time I was trying to pick up the prescription.) the cashier said it would be $100+ and since my wife normally shops there, I wasn’t familiar with how to pay for it. They had a plexi glass window in front of me with a little opening at the bottom so I pushed the credit card through. And at that point, she says, “don’t throw the credit card at me. Use the machine” I tried to explain to her that I just pushed it through the slot but all she said was “ stick it in the machine.” At this point, the girl at the window had an attitude the technician had an attitude, and now the cashier. I will never shop there again. However, the CVS on Derby Avenue on route 34 that we shopped at for many many years had the most wonderful crew, not only pharmacist but technicians. They took care of customers, with gigantic smiles on their faces no matter how busy they were. They always madd time to greet you, and if it were closer to where I live, I would still be shopping there. This is not about CVS in general, it’s only about the Shelton Connecticut store. Do not shop there if you wish to be treated nicely."

"Looking for a pump hairspray while CVS is selling aerosol hair spray which damages health of humans and our planet. Wake up CVS management and buyers, quit looking for the cheapest product which are unhealthy."

"Very rude staff. Tracy was the most disrespectful I have encountered at this location by far and Amy location of any business I have ever been to. She was unhelpful and entirely disrespectful which resulted in me not being help in an efficient manner and having to get my prescription from a manager in charge. I would not recommend this cvs which is a shame since it’s a brand new store."
