The Dumb Friends League Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur is a donor-subsidized veterinary care institution located at 4817 National Western Drive in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to provide high-quality urgent care and surgical services for sick and injured pets at an affordable rate, thanks to the support of our generous community donors. We offer services for owned cats and dogs by appointment, including non-elective surgery and dentistry, with same day appointments available. Payment is expected on the day of service and we accept all major forms of payment, including CareCredit and Scratch Pay. Please note that we do not offer wellness services or preventative care at this time. The Metro Cat Street Team, a program of the Dumb Friends League, provides vital services for pet and feral cats in priority Denver neighborhoods. Our facility does not staff specialists and has a limited scope of care, so we do not provide certain procedures or hospitalization for critical care patients. Please be aware that the CSU Spur campus is still under construction, and our building is located on the north side of the campus. Directions to our facility are provided for those coming from the south and north. Look for the doors with Green and Purple pawprints at the Vida Building entrance.
