Hall Ranch Open Space
Hall Ranch Open Space is a park and tourist attraction located at 31635 Colorado 7 in Lyons, Colorado, United States. The landscape of rolling grasslands and sandstone buttes at Hall Ranch provides excellent viewing opportunities for wildflowers, animals, and scenic vistas. The institution offers 3.7 miles of difficult trails where horses are permitted but not recommended. Prescribed burns are conducted when conditions allow. A major construction project is currently underway at the Hall Ranch Trailhead. The goal of this project is to improve drainage, road surface, and overall efficiency of the trailhead. The project includes replacing wood parking timbers with new stone curbing for sustainability. The trailhead will remain open unless closed due to muddy conditions or prescribed burns.
