Despite daily cardiovascular exercise, 4X a week weight training, and a healthy diet, I haven't been feeling myself since I hit my mid forties. I had heard of BioTe bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and after reading reviews and talking to Shannon, decided to get the bloodwork done and start treatment. "I found a promotional offer for Lily Aesthetics and made an appointment. I received a text back saying I needed to give a $29 deposit to hold my appointment which is totally fine. However, my circumstances are different so I was waiting for a response back to see if they could see me based on my circumstances. I finally received a response back saying "No problem our medical professionals have 25 plus years of experience and this is no problem." Next day I get a text saying my appointment has been canceled and would I like to make an appointment on a different day. My response was "No, I am on call a lot and this particular day was one of my days off." Then there "representative" texts back saying, "Oh, I thought you were someone else, we canceled your appointment because we can't help you. We suggest you see a plastic surgeon." How offensive and contradictory is that?? First of all, I had Bells Palsy about 8 years ago. I still have some slight paralysis on the left side of my face. The botox was supposed to be for the RIGHT side on my forehead just to even things out. If they would have even seen a photo of me, they would have seen that it's barely noticeable anymore. And anyone who knows anything about Bells Palsy knows that it's NERVE related and has nothing to do with getting PLASTIC SURGERY. All I can say is very unprofessional, insulting and thank God I dodged a bullet by them canceling my appointment. If their "medical professionals" are so knowledgeable, they would have taken a look at me and at the very least known that Plastic surgery doesn't do anything for Bells Palsy. I will schedule an appointment with a practice that treats their patients with respect and kindness."
