"I am a return customer of Pioneer and I have always had great service, not to mention the prices are fair! Today, however, I became a lifetime customer of Pioneer because of your delivery driver, Margo. Wow what an absolute gem! First she called to say she was on the way. This as simple as it sounds was an above and beyond task as Margo not only said I am on my way, she also complimented me on the product I purchased. When Margo arrived she went well above the extra mile! She takes her job seriously, she takes care of her customers and her customers homes, and most importantly she finds joy in her work and that certainly showed! Thank you!"

"We will never use Pioneer again, and do not recommend anyone using them. Their customer service is terrible! They delivered the wrong soil for our garden- 3 1/2 yards of what we discovered was Bio-compost. It should have been mixed 70/30 with top soil. All of our 9 newly purchased tomato plants died in two days, all the shoveling it took to fill our raised beds! Pioneer admitted they brought the wrong soil and said they would deliver enough top soil to mix into the Bio- compost to create the right garden soil. They delivered “some” top soil but not near enough and will not fix the problem. Terrible customer service!!!"

"We have used Pioneer for over 20 years at various times and this last visit has been the worst experience we have ever dealt with. I was double charged on my first order. Once I caught it, they refunded it. My first scheduled delivery was never met. They refunded my delivery fee. The second rescheduled delivery two days later was over 2 hours late. Last but not least, my delivery of rock had more compost, sand and dirt than the rock I ordered. Their “quality” department was quite simply a joke. I sent pictures of the delivery and pictures throughout the process of shoveling out the mess they delivered and he said “what’s the problem? You got your rock order didn’t you?” saying that 20-30% dirt is acceptable in their terms. Clearly, from the many pictures i sent them, my delivery was 60-70% dirt. I will never use them again and highly recommend others to go elsewhere. I appreciate the response from the owner , but as I stated, I contacted the "Quality" department and sent many photos with absolutely no help from Michael. I attached two of photos to this review so you can see what I had to deal with."

"Love this place. Its super close to my home. Very reasonable prices. Seems as though they decreased their stock inside. Not a big selection of miscellaneous items like landscaping fabric, pins, other items. Its very convenient for me. Only been in twice this season and staff is so so. Previous summer staff were great!"

"These guys are amazing. My wife and I finished our new home’s side yard with Pioneer’s materials (base soil, decomposed granite, river rocks, artificial turf and infill) and their customer service was excellent and their prices were better than all others we’d compared them to. Would absolutely recommend Pioneer, as well as their great staff (Larry, Tony and all of the other office staff and friendly delivery truck drivers)."
