"Billing is horrendous! My insurance was charged $20,000 for a dental procedure that my son's dentist performed! That's not a typo. Only reason it's not a 1 star is because the nurse was really nice. That charge was ludicrous!"

"Surgery center was great, their billing however is a huge joke. They were going to send me to collections over $18/month on my payment plan. Life happens and insurance is a joke so it would be nice to have compassion towards people when they ask for a little help. Luckily I called a completely different office and got it resolved. I won't be calling Leoma anymore."

"Everything goes well till now, my son had surgery and he’s fine, i was worried first but they did such a good job, only the schedule postpone two times and made us bored. Next the nurse explain everything good but for anesthesia she took it to the operation room, and we didn’t know we cannot see him till the end. I had an experience in Denver children hospital, we was with him before sleep. But anyway I understand might be the rule has changed! Thanks for your service."

"Very sketchy and questionable financial practices. I suspect there is fraudulent activity. I paid hundreds on day of service and they do not show record of this credit card payment, thankfully I didn't pay with cash. I received an explanation of benefits for their services showing my patient portion as zero, and as "a contracted provider...the member is not responsible for the payment of this claim." They now have sent me a bill as "self pay" as if I wouldn't have received notification from my insurance. Now billing is telling me it was a denied service. SCARY!!! get a receipt, dot your i's and cross your t's with this facility. They do not have their act together and I wouldn't trust them to be financially responsible. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!"

"My son had health problems and ultimately surgery at this center in July of 2017. The experience has been a total disaster. I can't count how many different bills I've received from Children's. My wife and I have paid them as they have come through and as we verify that they are correct and as we work with our insurance company to make sure we are paying the correct amount. After paying countless bills from them. I start getting calls from a collection agency, (which I think must be a scam, because we have paid all of our bills), but they tell me there is an outstanding balance from the date of service of his surgery. I finally get through to a call center in god-knows-where and end up playing phone tag with Loretta Small. She never answers her phone, you have to leave a message for a call back, and that call back happens 1-2 days later. When she does call, she leaves me a message and says, "You refused a 6 month and 9 month payment term and also refused assistance and gave me permission to turn your account over to collections.". This is an outright lie. I've never been able to speak to this person. All I want is to pay my bill directly to Children's North Surgery Center. I'm frustrated beyond words! Not only was this a stressful situation because my son had surgery, now I get to deal with the negative impact on my credit because the medical billing is so completely broken at this clinic. I encourage you to never have any procedure performed at this location. Save yourself the headache and ask your surgeon if you can have the services performed somewhere else. I promise it will be worth it to not have to deal with Children's North Surgery Center, Loretta Small and their broken billing system."
