"They like to make you chase your tail. Zero help from Customer service zero help from the fraud dept they send you back to. Can't wait to close my account with them. UPDATE - Contacting me one month later is pointless. I spent that entire day calling support and then being told to call your third party fraud agency who told me I would need to call Westerra support for help. I was sent on this run around over 5 times back and forth. Westerra couldn't help, fraud agency couldn't help. Finally went into a branch where they didn't see any hold on my ATM card and I should have been able to use it. Then I called back to customer support after my card still wouldn't work and had to beg and plead with them for over an hour to find a way to resolve this issue where my card would not work. They also tried to send me back to your third-party fraud agency and I had to continue begging to get Westerra to just go around this third-party to resolve the impossible hold your third-party agency put on my card. Absolutely ridiculous. My card works now, but only because I had to all and run around for hours trying to get this resolved. Least professional credit union I've ever had the displeasure of working with, your systems are terribly inefficient and don't work with a third party if neither of you are on the same page and are just going to run customers back and forth between you with no answers."

"Complete incompetence. Wasted hours of my time and then caused my bills not to get paid on time due to their negligence. "Cinnamon" the fraud manager doesn't care about what you have to say and will just side with their other incompetent employees. Stay far away."

"For this particular branch, most of my experiences have been positive. This review is for Westerra as a whole. Westerra has been a great place to bank for the last 4+ years, but their transition to their new "Digital Banking" has me looking to jump ship just like others in earlier reviews. Through the last 4 years Westerra has been great for personal accounts, a business account, and a car loan. For the last six months or so, the Digital Banking transition is causing a lot of turbulence in my personal and business accounts. The new platform is clunky, non-intuitive, and lacking features you would expect from a full revamp. My biggest issue that I can't seem to get traction on is Westerra has stopped allowing my accounting software to query my accounts to be able to keep good records and use budgeting tools. I've reached for help on this several times and all I get are noncommittal answers. Another wall that I've bumped into is their relationship with other credit unions. I've moved north of Denver, so coming down for something as trivial as withdrawing cash for a larger purchase is not a headache. I tried to leverage their partner network with another credit union further north and I was told that feature was only available to military members. That's great they're taking care of our service men and women, but Westerra forgot to mention that when I signed up. If Westerra could fix these problems then I'm happy to stay, but if things continue on this trajectory then I'll be forced to look elsewhere."

"I'm really easy to please when it comes to my shared coop branches of credit unions. This particular one has a covered inside waiting area, was open late and seemed not only well kept but also seemed quite safe. I'll be coming back here again. UPDATE: took me a week to get back a check the atm ate. Westerra was friendly enough(actually super helpful) but im still not trusting this ATM again"
