“First time trying here while revisiting Chch. The satay noodles takes me back to my uni days, the broth was very nice balance of sweet and savoury. The rice rolls are also very freshly made and yummy. Overall can't go wrong with this place and the lady who served us whom I assume is the owner as well, was very friendly and nice.”

“Authentic Thai food in a pristine clean restaurant with great service from lovely staff. This place is a real neighbourhood find so don’t go past it. Menu is considerable and the Pad Thai and Green Curry and Masamman Curry rates up there. Loved this place and we will return for sure”

“Everything about this little Takeaway shop is fantastic, I ordered a noodle dish and wontons this evening, and the freshness of the ingredients, and the fact that I can taste the spices that’s great. The spice is so reasonably priced as well, their portions are great. And very friendly service. I have ordered multiple times from this restaurant. And will always go back. Delicious Thai food, and clean kitchen.”

“Really enjoyed our meal here. Popped in as thought Indonesian and Thai would be interesting. We tried 5 dishes and everything was fresh and delicious. Our favorites were the Malaysian penang curry and the beef rendang. The mango Lassi was as good as we hoped it would be too. Thank you!”

“Looking for magnificent flavors of Thai cuisine. Mai Thai is for you. We ordered Red curry + crispy pork and Tom Yum + beef. Love the well balanced taste of curry, a bit hot which is I prefer to eat with my nice crispy tender pork. Tom yum fried rice was so tasty I ordered two for takeout. No miss here in Mai Thai.”

The food is so delicious and beautifully presented, the service is so friendly and cheerful and the ambiance is also amazing We had a coeliac in our group and nothing was a hassle, almost every single dish can be made gluten free, so this is a fantastic spot to come! The cocktail list was delicious and we made a good dent in trying the entire list, the house special is certainly one to enjoy. Ordered the Pad Se-Ew, the Massaman lamb curry, garlic chicken and seared lemon salmon and my goodness those were all incredible and so delicious I could happily eat them for the rest of my life! The people working clearly cared so much about their jobs and delivering exceptional service, cheerful banter and they made every single patron feel welcomed, so do yourself a favour and come here”

“As this place has recently started opening for lunches we popped in to try their specials. Priced between ten and fifteen bucks, the lunch menu changes every month it seems and had a nice variety of choices on it. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food is served in takeaway boxes which is fine. They are primarily a takeaway. We just happened to park ourselves at the table inside which seats about six. We all enjoyed what we ordered. Nicely cooked veggies and meats with tasty spice and ample rice for a lunch. Definitely worth checking out.”

“What a great surprise was to discover this "hidden" gem. I had the best Italian pasta that I've tried in New Zealand so far, and the decoration and the service was great as well. I'm looking forward to trying their pizza next time I go there.”
