“Sean was absolutely superb with customer service and nathan was absolutely brilliant aswell they understood the situation and made the process easier, and managed to arrange a refund of my electric bike. In terms of quality of bike I would give a 1 star, it started off fine, but after a couple months I had almost non stop issues with it, all in all had essentially 3 different bikes due to different replacements over the 12months I've had it. Sean and Nathan understood this situation and I'm very happy with how they could resolve it.”

“Today after work I was cycling back home when my bike's chain got stuck in a way that it was impossible for me to pull it out. I tried for 20 minuets until my hands where completely black from touching the chain and, at some point, I realised that all I could do was bringing my bike to a shop where someone experienced could have helped me with the issue. I looked on maps and found this shop which was fairly close to where I was, and it was open until 8pm, so I decided to go there. Now the shop was only about 15 minutes walking from where my bike got stuck, but the rear wheel was blocked by the chain so I had to carry my bike with my arms for the whole 15 minutes of journey. At this point my mood was greatly affected by the whole situation, but a goal in my mind made me go ahead and kept me from giving up: to reach the shop and get my problem solved. I eventually arrived to the shop and it was there that I met my saviour. This guy listened to my problem, gave me a wet tissue to clean my hands and with some magic he managed to pull out the chain in about 2 minutes. At this point I was ready and happy to pay for the service, but the guy told me it was fine; I didn't have to pay anything. So at least I thought it was appropriate to give him a tip for his help, but he did not accept that either. This guy solved my problem and he did that for free, and especially in that situation I found the gesture to be really nice, and I really appreciated it. I have been there today 11/11/2022 I believe at around 17:50 and, I hope I got that right, the guy's name is Daniel so please Halfords give him a promotion or at least acknowledge and reward him for being a hero. Thank you!”

“On the positive side, the store is always tidy and uncluttered. Staff are very helpful. If they are not sure of something they will find someone who knows more about your query/problem. On the negative side, the tablets they have dotted around the store to help you search for the right bulbs/oils/batteries/wiper blades etc very rarely work and if you are lucky enough to find a working one they can be painfully slow. It's only a small thing but so frustrating, especially when all the staff are busy with other customers”

“Came in looking for dust caps - first person we asked straight up said none there. We carried on looking for the other bits we needed and we were approached by your number 1 employee Connor Lewis; who actually cared about customer service. Suddenly there was dust caps in abundance of stock, and helped us out to look for the rest of the stuff we needed. Credit where credits due, most helpful employee on shift.”

“Can’t recommend this store enough. As usual I had left my son’s birthday present last minute. I went to this store and purchased a bike and paid the £10 fee for them to build it. Due to me being last minutes they said it would be ready Thursday, I explained my sons birthday is tomorrow and they then said they’d be able to get it ready by 11am tomorrow. However I received a phone call 4 hours later to explain its ready to pick up. The fact they got it ready in time for my sons birthday means everything and the two men I dealt with couldn’t have been anymore helpful if they tried. They are a credit to your store.”
