Head Start Program South Park
Head Start Program South Park is a school located at 1330 Temple Avenue, Santa Rosa, California, United States. This institution is committed to providing high-quality, culturally diverse, no-cost school readiness programs and comprehensive services to low-income children and families in the community. The program serves children ages prenatal-5 who meet Federal Income Guidelines for eligibility. With 13 centers throughout Sonoma County, the program aims to build a strong foundation for school readiness by recognizing each child's individual strengths and needs. The curriculum used is the Creative Curriculum for Preschool. Additionally, the program offers a Family Literacy program called Raising a Reader, which sends book bags home to families in an ongoing rotation. The Early Head Start program serves pregnant women/infants/toddlers and partners with the Santa Rosa City School District to provide full-day services to children of high school students.
