The spacious outdoor pool is heated from April through October, allowing for year-round enjoyment. The large patio area provides plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and BBQ facilities for a complete summer experience. In addition to recreational swimming, Queensborough Pool also offers lifeguard certification classes twice a month, with the pool closed until noon on those weekends. Private and semi-private swim lessons are available for both members and non-members, catering to adults and children ages 3 to 99. Unfortunately, group lessons are not offered this year, but sign-ups for private lessons will be available in the spring.
