About Us
Queensborough Pool, located at 1138 Miller Avenue in San Jose, California, is the perfect place for families to enjoy a fun and relaxing day by the pool. The spacious outdoor pool is heated from April through October, allowing for year-round enjoyment. The large patio area provides plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and BBQ facilities for a complete summer experience.
In addition to recreational swimming, Queensborough Pool also offers lifeguard certification classes twice a month, with the pool closed until noon on those weekends. Private and semi-private swim lessons are available for both members and non-members, catering to adults and children ages 3 to 99. Unfortunately, group lessons are not offered this year, but sign-ups for private lessons will be available in the spring.
Looking ahead to Summer 2024, Queensborough Pool will be accepting applications for swim instructors and lifeguards. It's never too early to start planning for a summer of fun in the sun! "The best deal in town for swim lessons! Paid $35 for the whole week and you get a group class every day, m-f for a half hour. The most kids you will have with 1 instructor is 5 but this week my daughter was 1 of only 2 kids in her intermediate class."
