"I would give 0 stars for the service I received from Dr Dej’s clinic at Sand Canyon in Irvine. I’m a new patient and waited 1 hour to get called through to see the doctor who I didn’t even get to meet.I tried making a review on the Orange Coast Women’s website but you are only invited to give feedback…go figure! I asked 3 times at the front desk about the status of my appointment and on the last attempt I was then told the doctor had already left according to her screen only to be called in by her nurse to get weighed and screened. Even so I stayed calm and proceeded thinking the lady at reception must of been mistaken. The nurse was abrupt with her style of questioning me and then told me to get undressed from the waist down and provided me with a blanket made of tissue paper to cover myself whilst taking away the hospital gown although I asked her for it. She bluntly informed me to press the yellow button when I was ready and the doctor would come in to, ‘feel around’, her words. I was confused by her manner as I only experienced excellent care from my PCP and various specialist at Hoag Medical in Tustin and Newport Beach. I waited for over 10 mins in that state only to be told by the nurse that sorry but the doctor left as she was called out for an emergency and to go to the front desk and make another appointment. Seriously… at which point I had enough and asked to speak to the manager. She managed it well and explained that with doctors on call that tends to happen a lot and so sat me down in her office and arranged an appointment with another doctor that worked out of Tustin and so unlikely get called out as it doesn’t have a maternity hospital there. For women whom don’t require obstetric services then they should be offered appointments with doctors that solely specialise in their area. Something that needs addressing."

"I 100% recommend Dr. Dejbakhsh! She is the best OBGYN that I have ever been to. Dr.Dej is extremely personable, friendly, and down to earth. She put my mind at ease with any concerns I had during my pregnancy, and did not push her own agenda on me. Dr. Dej delivered my baby through c-section and everything went beautifully! If you’re looking for your next OBGYN, look no further."
