The Ukiah Municipal Swimming Pool is a state-of-the-art facility located at 511 Park Boulevard in Ukiah, California. Our pool offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages, including swim lessons, water aerobics, lap swimming, and recreational swimming. Registration for our Summer 2024 swim lessons is now open through the ukiah.recdesk.com portal. Our pool is also committed to energy efficiency and sustainability, with initiatives such as water-efficient fixtures, recycled water for irrigation, and solar power for heating the pool.

Lake Mendocino Recreational Area is a stunning park located at 5301 Lake Ridge Road in Ukiah, California, United States. Nestled in the heart of wine country and near the entrance to the Redwoods, this park is just a two-hour drive north of the Bay area in central Mendocino County. The beautiful lake, created by a dam in 1958, offers a plethora of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. With over 300 campsites, including boat-in camping options, and 15 miles of hiking and biking trails, there is no shortage of ways to explore the natural beauty of Lake Mendocino. The park also features a 700-acre wilderness area where native wildlife can be spotted, as well as five large day-use areas with covered picnic shelters and barbeques.

Cowboy Camp is a secluded campground and park located in Clearlake Oaks, California, United States. Nestled within oak woodlands, grasslands, and chaparral, this recreation site offers a day use area with a wildlife viewing deck, an overnight parking area, and a group camp site with 27 individual horse camp sites. The group camp site features parking for fire pits and horse trailers, as well as access to vault toilets. Please note that drinking water and electricity are not available at the group camp site. Visitors are encouraged to practice Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly principles while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Target shooting is not permitted at Cowboy Camp. The group camp site is open to vehicles and horses from the 3rd Saturday in April through the 3rd Saturday in November.
