El Parque de la Paz, located at 2580 Pleasant Way in Thousand Oaks, California, is a serene park filled with beautiful oak trees. Acquired in 1986 and expanded in 1989 with the help of the City of Thousand Oaks Redevelopment Agency, this 5-acre park is a peaceful oasis. Within the park, you can find the historic Crowley House, originally built in 1910. The house has a rich history, serving as a real estate sales office, a convalescent home, and the home of Louis and Kathleen Goebel before being acquired by CRPD in the 1980s. Recently renovated, the Crowley House is now used for various programs to enhance life skills and outreach for teens. The park is open daily from 7:00am to 10:00pm and alcohol possession is prohibited without a permit.
