Roy Inn & Suites -Sacramento Midtown

"I booked online. Drove into town for a night. Checked in. Didn’t last 5 minutes in the room. Called an Uber, to pick me up and go anywhere else. it is down pouring outside and water is coming inside the room, the floors have some kind of stain, exposed wire, black mold, it smells horrible, got a bad vibe from employees, maid watched when I went the room, and security guard watched along with another person which room I was going into. Shady people in parking lot. place should be torn down."

You risk being bitten by bed bugs along with taking home cockroaches. Also you might not ever get your deposit back.❗❗❗❗You are now warned. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION."

"Young lady at the front desk with colored hair was very unpleasant and unfriendly. We booked online or else we would of left. Have been here many times in the past no issues. She made us both feel uncomfortable and the way she phrased "no smoking" was as of it was directly towards us. Last time coming here. Television never works. Maids horseplay way to much. Elevator still broken. Charging more for rooms that have been "upgraded" but plumbing is still horrible. Hotel has changed it's name over three times but this is the worst out of all of them."

"Convienantly located off the freeway. Got a really good deal on priceline. Unfortunately, the site needs to be updated. I am a diabetic that travels with insulin and we were notified upon check in there are no fridges or microwaves even though the website states otherwise. But finding places that are bug free are always hard to find and I was glad we didn't have any issues. Maybe because all you have is a bed tv and shower there's not much risk of bringing such things in. I was ok with going without my life saving meds but it would of been nice to know ahead of time so I didn't have to waste my $1500 medicine due to no fridge accessibility . Other than that it is worth the value. Only had neighbors blasting music for about 20 minutes. I wasn't nosey enough to see if security made them turn it off or they went to sleep. Also want to add the security presence and cameras do give a better sense of security since other reviews have stated issues with homelessness in the area. There is an issue in most of downtown area but it looks like they keep the area pretty safe with security present. Last but not lest I just want to add I really would have gave 5 stars but I feel they need to work with priceline to update the website to give a full disclosure of the amenities offered (NONE). I am happy with a clean bed and shower available for the price however I feel I would have spent a few bucks more to have a fridge and Wi-Fi available"
