William B. Ide Adobe State Park is a historic park located at 21659 Adobe Road in Red Bluff, California. The Visitor Center is open Friday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm, where guided tours of the homestead buildings are available. Dogs are allowed on a leash in the picnic area and parking lots. Ide, who played a significant role in early California history by writing the proclamation that established the California Bear Republic in 1846, which lasted for 22 days.
East Bay Regional Park District- Big Break Regional Shoreline

McNear Building
The McNear Building is a historic institution located at 7 4th Street in Petaluma, California. Originally constructed in 1886 by the McNear family, this 20,000 square-foot building is a testament to the rich history of the area. The McNear family was involved in various industries such as real estate, milling, and shipping, making them one of the most prominent families in Sonoma County. In addition to the 1886 McNear Building, the family also constructed the 1911 McNear Building, adding another 30,000 square feet of space.
