"I had doubts about this place and I should have listened to them. I went in to get new tubes and have them installed on the bike. Simple right? That's what I thought. I come back the next day and I get told the guy couldn't fit the tires I've been using for over 2 years on to the bike.  Nice guy tells me he'll fix it for me as soon as possible. Ok relief for me. What he didn't tells was that he was going to charge me for fixing what his employee hadn't done. Last time I checked, it wasn't my fault your mechanic couldn't do their job. Come back two days later and get told I need to pay 40 bucks more because they had to put new tires. I'm sorry what? I never asked for new tires. If you can't do a service you call the customer and ask what they want before taking matters into your own hands. Ended up with $70 bucks thrown away on a bike that doesn't even work for what I need it and a migraine for dealing with such bad service. Now I'm going to have to spend more money fixing my bike because they left it even worse. I strongly suggest anyone coming here to do so with caution and to outline exactly what you want and have them explain exactly what they're charging you with. Never coming here again."

"J&M bikes is the best local bike shop around. The customer service from Steve and Mary is top notch. They carry all sorts of bikes from 3 wheeled cruisers, road bikes, to top of the line bmx bikes. They also have a good selection of very nice used bikes. If they do not have the bike or parts you are looking for they can order them as long as they are a authorized dealer for that brand. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The service is very good with pretty quick turn around times as well."
