"I am lucky enough to have had both Dr.Dorian and Dr.Gutman come handle vet care for my girls (my dogs). We had to put down my 17 year old yellow lab a few years ago. I had gotten her in 1st grade, and she was my soul mate! We were new to CCVS so we didn't have too much of a relationship with either vets. We called Dr.Dorian to come out 4 different times, and ultimately couldn't bring ourselves to do it until the 4th time. He was so extremely kind and patient every time he came out, never made us feel like we needed to do it just because he had taken the time to come out there. He even shaved off a little piece of her fur for me to keep, which I now keep in a locket that hangs around my rearview mirror of my car. A gesture I will forever be grateful for, as I get to think of Autumn every time I go to work in the morning. Dr.Gutman has been our main vet for the last few years though and we LOVE this man. We have 4 dogs, one of which has a load of medical problems so we call Dr.Gutman a lot (he saved her life, by the way!). Every time he comes over, he is so patient and loving to all of them. He never makes us feel like he is short on time or rushing to just get us seen and move on to the next. He genuinely takes his time with the animals, and then takes his time to chat with us about whatever it is that is going on. I have never felt more comfortable handing my animals over to someone and entrusting they will be ok. I cannot recommend CCVS, Dr.Dorian, and Dr.Gutman enough. You literally cannot go wrong with either of them. And to top it all off, every single one of their vet assistants have been incredibly wonderful and loving as well. Don't chance going anywhere else, you'll get the best care here. And they even come to you :)"

"They’re my new emergency contact for my fur babies! Dr. Gutman came to my home within hours of my phone call after what seemed like every vet on the central coast was booked for a week or more! He was super kind and gentle and my cat that had an injured and painful eye didn’t cry once during the exam! I was expecting a large fee since it was an in-home emergency visit, but the charge was less than half of what I’m used to paying in Los Angeles! Thank you to Dr. Gutman and all the staff that made it happen!"

"Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. I had to make the decision to put down my companion of 14 years. She and I had a special bond and my promise to her was that she would go to sleep at home, in my arms…her favorite place to be. The team at Central Coast Vet Services were so incredibly kind, compassionate, and considerate. They were somehow able to work us into their schedule on the same day, and come out to my home to take care of my girl. They were so sweet to her, and treated her with so much dignity and respect, making her last moments peaceful and serene. For such a tragic event, they made the experience beautiful.
