Del Valle Visitor Center
Del Valle Visitor Center is a travel agency located at 7000 Del Valle Road in Livermore, California, United States. The center is open seasonally, from September through May on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and most holidays, from 9:30am to 3pm. During the summer months, the center is open on Fridays from 2pm-4:30pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-4:30pm. The center is closed on all other days, including Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Del Valle Visitor Center is situated in the beautiful Del Valle Regional Park, a lakeside resort just 10 miles south of Livermore. The park features a five-mile long lake offering a variety of water activities such as swimming, windsurfing, and boating. The surrounding 4,395 acres of land provide opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, and nature study. Del Valle is also the gateway to the Ohlone Wilderness Trail, a 28-mile scenic back-country trail.
