Hudson Park features two lit softball fields, perfect for both casual games and competitive leagues. These fields can be reserved through our Aquatics and Sports Office at 570-1732. Located at 1900 Walnut Avenue, north of Pacific Coast Highway, Chittick Field spans 19 acres and offers state-of-the-art facilities for athletes and sports enthusiasts alike. The complex features a football field, an all-weather track, and three lighted soccer fields, all available for use by permitted groups. Originally developed in 1936 as a stormwater detention basin, Chittick Field has evolved into a premier recreational facility while maintaining its vital role in flood control management. Thanks to a transformative renovation completed in 2014, the site now boasts modern amenities including restrooms, bleacher areas, sports lighting, and paved parking, all set amidst beautifully landscaped grounds with native and drought-tolerant plants.
