Lincoln is registered with the State Bar of California, allowing its students to qualify to take the California Bar Examination and practice law in the state. However, Lincoln Law School of San Jose was issued a Notice of Noncompliance by the California Committee of Bar Examiners in August 2020 and subsequently placed on probation for not meeting the required minimum five-year California Bar Examination Passage Rate.
