Alliance Evangelical Divinity School
About the Business
Alliance Evangelical Divinity School is a school located at 314 South Brookhurst Street, Anaheim, California, United States. With a tradition of education and training from the Bible School in Da Nang and the Theological Seminary in Nha Trang, we focus primarily on the spiritual life of our students and challenge them to strive for excellence in their studies while equipping them with practical service skills.
Students can enroll in the Divinity School to learn how to become effective Christian workers: identifying God's priorities for their lives and utilizing what they learn in their careers, personal relationship with God, and ministry. The school's programs provide the flexibility students need to prepare for the future based on their past foundations. Students will enhance their community engagement and teaching skills, develop counseling abilities, expand leadership skills, and build teamwork. They will also explore new ways to enhance and expand their ministry under the guidance of experienced professors.
Above all, we aim to glorify God, who has given us the opportunity to equip students to serve Christ and expand His Kingdom. The Divinity School is an official member of the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries and is fully accredited by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education to operate as a Religious Academy under the California Education Code section 94739.
The Vietnamese Alliance Church, established over 100 years ago, continues to develop the work of equipping and training servants of the Lord. This work is vital for the maintenance and growth of the Church. The Divinity School, which began in 1919 with the Bible School in Da Nang and later the Theological Seminary in Nha Trang until 1976, has trained most of the leaders and pastors of the Vietnamese Alliance Church.
After more than 25 years of interruption due to the country's circumstances, the Divinity School under the Vietnamese Alliance Church - USA has been reopened to continue this noble tradition, especially to train and provide pastors and Christian personnel for the Vietnamese Alliance Church in Vietnam and overseas in the 21st century.
The Divinity School, an official Bible and Theology school under the Vietnamese Alliance Church - USA, is dedicated to preparing men and women for the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the development of His Kingdom within the Vietnamese Church community in the United States, Vietnam, and other countries. The school supports the historical mission of the Vietnamese Alliance Church and the Vietnamese Alliance Missionary Society, which is reflected in the Board of Professors, Board of Administration, Board of Trustees, student body, and curriculum.
The Divinity School teaches the same orthodox theology and doctrine as the Vietnamese Alliance Church in Vietnam. Additionally, the school shares the same theology and doctrine as the Vietnamese Alliance Missionary Society, which brought the Gospel to Vietnam in the early 20th century and established the Vietnamese Alliance Church there.
