Visitors can enjoy recreational activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing in this unique desert landscape. Facilities at the Imperial Dam LTVA include restroom facilities with outdoor showers, trash services, dump sites, a dance floor, and ramadas. Visitors can purchase a long term permit for $180, allowing continuous use of designated LTVAs from September 15th to April 15th, or a short-visit permit for $40 for any 14-day period within those dates. Permits can be purchased at the Yuma Field Office or on site.
