The Castro Valley Community Center, located at 18988 Lake Chabot Road in Castro Valley, California, is operated and maintained by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. This facility offers a wide range of classes, activities, and special interest programs for the community to enjoy. The main hall of the facility is available for private events and can be rented from 8 AM – 10 PM on Monday – Saturday and 8 AM – 8 PM on Sunday. With written approval, alcohol is permitted with some restrictions. To check availability and submit a request for rental, individuals can fill out the Request for Rental Form during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. If the requested date is available, a deposit for the main hall is due within 3 business days, and all fees must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event.
