Preschool mission in Downey, California

Downey United Methodist Preschool, located at 10801 Downey Avenue in Downey, California, is a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Established in 1965, our preschool started with a simple idea of starting each day with love and understanding, which has now grown into four classrooms operating five mornings a week. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children, providing experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. We believe that a child's work is play, and through play, children learn how to learn and explore the world around them.
