Stratford at the Harbor

"The ambience and the views from the restaurant definitely win. However, the food was just okay, not the most exceptional we had. The coffee cake was good. We also ordered the Stratford scramble. Its a self seating restaurant but we got a table pretty quickly for breakfast. The place can get really crowded around brunch. The service was fast and our food was brought to us in about 10 minutes. Lots of parking and you can go for a walk around the harbor once you have had your meal."

"As a local-I thought this was just going to be another tourist destination with average food. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the food. My girlfriend got the Chilaquiles and she said it was “one of the best brunch plates” she had ever had. It’s a walk up window with open seating and the food came out super quick. Big ups to the Stratford staff for everything being quick and delicious!"

"While the ambiance of the place is acceptable, I must admit that the food falls into the realm of mediocrity, lacking any distinguishing features. It seems my choice was primarily influenced by the view, which turned out to be the highlight. However, I would suggest improvement in customer service. It would be beneficial for servers to inform customers when ordering coffee that it is self-serve, preventing unnecessary waits for those anticipating their caffeine fix. Despite these considerations, the experience was okay, but there is room for enhancement in certain aspects."

"Quick and friendly service. Hash browns were very crispy. The French toast had a great crunch and pancakes came with plenty of butter. The perfect breakfast sandwich seemed more like a lunch option and would opt for the breakfast croissant instead."

"Excellent little place with a good menu choice but I do have a small suggestion. The fish and chips were good but they could have been better and I say that because I'm British. 1 suggestion is use a bigger piece of fish rather than small portions if that's possible and the other which was the biggest let down was there was way too much batter on the fish. It was way too crispy. There appeared to be too much flour in the fish too. Batter is supposed to be soft not crunchy. The fries were really nice but you can't beat chunky fries. So far you have the best fish and chips out here (in CA) that I have found and I love fish and chips so I will be back but because of the batter it took away the taste and texture of the fish. It could also be that the oil was old but I thought my opinion would be helpful. The service was fantastic and the location was spot on. Nice view of the harbour."
