Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Gamble's passion for animals began at a young age. She pursued her dream by earning a degree in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, followed by graduating from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Dr. Gamble's extensive career has taken her through various roles, including working in emergency clinics, animal hospitals in the Long Beach and South Bay area, and even the Long Beach Animal Shelter, where she cared for sick and injured homeless pets. Her experience extends to treating marine mammals at Marineland and exotic animals at the Sacramento Zoo.
