"Many places undervalue the importance of having a great front desk, especially to first-timers guests! I checked in at the last-minute and late (it was 8pm-ish) so probably the receptionist checking me in at that hour wasn't really "in the mood" on side information. The next morning upon checking out though, Tania who handled my check-out at Mammoth Lakes was being so helpful and welcoming with loads of information for a first-time visitor/guest. Thanks a lot Tania! The room itself is great for a night or two. Basic and clean. Mattress is a little springy to my liking but to each his own. Definitely recommending this to anyone making a stop at Mammoth Lakes!"

"I love using Motel 6 for all my ski travel. Melissa at the front desk has always been extremely helpful, very quick to check us in, and treated my groups and I with kindness and respect on all occasions. Rudolph is great as well. I think their staff sets them apart from the other value motels in the area. Between the kind staff, flexible reservations and the easy of access to bus lines, it makes for a very enjoyable and convenient place to stay and hit the slopes!"

"**** Update 2/29/24, Melissa the manager called and was so polite and apologized. I have always had great service here so I was surprised when I had a bad stay. She made it right with me and I will definitely be staying at Mammoth motel 6 again in the future! I am actually really impressed by this corporation that she would contact me directly and take the time to talk with me. Thank you!! I will be staying again soon as I am there about 3 weeks of the snow season each year. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Room smelled really bad like chemicals, cleaning chemicals, gave me a headache honestly, then the heat went out in the middle of the night, it was freezing, called the office and they sent someone in maintenance to look at it but nobody followed up or offered another room or anything, I would think they would offer me a discount for my next stay or something, at least a "hey we are sorry" but nothing. Not very happy honestly. I stay here often and won't be coming back unless someone contacts me and offers some type of remedy for this situation. Mammoth lakes in the winter is no place for zero heat. Really unacceptable!!"

"I have been staying at this great motel for the past 12 years or so for the winter snowboarding. The rooms are always clean & ample. The staff & cleaning crew are very friendly & attentive to ones needs. The coffee is fantastic as well. Tonia & Gabe who work the front office are very courteous & professional. The local is great as I walk down to the road & catch the bus to Mammoth to board. In addition there are many dining spots a mere 10-20 minute walk away, as are sports stores & bakerys. I highly recommend this motel. Did I mention the price is great too? Well, it is."
