To reach the campground, take Interstate 8 to Yuma, AZ, then head to Imperial County Road S24 and follow it north for approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn left onto Senator Wash Road and follow it for about 3 miles to the South Mesa campground. Turn left again and proceed 200 yards to the access road on the right that leads to the reservoir.
