"A lot of space, so it’s a great place for animals. I don’t see many dogs here though, for some reason. The mulch pile is very useful and easily accessible. Quality varies and tends to be mediocre, but not useless. There are a variety of trails and all are worth exploring. You may end up on someone else’s property, but the locals don’t seem bothered. There are a few (incorporated?) entities with properties on the same quadrant, with land used for industrial and agricultural purposes. Impressive cityscape at the lookout point. Not a 360 degree view but one can see the port, downtown Long Beach, and various Long Beach neighborhoods with a degree of detail. I’d recommend."

"Hidden above the famous cemetery, this is a nice little stroll with some interesting educational points, colorful artwork and Long Beach historical interest. Also saw some wildlife about. Not the best walking trail in Long Beach, but it is quaint and charming. Not too busy, which is a plus."

"It's nice! There's 2 walks to do - 1 up by the parking lot at Long View Point, with a gorgeous view for sunsets. The 2nd walk is down below - from the parking lot, walk left (south) through the green gate, down the hill. Dogs have to be on a leash. Stay out of the bushes/plants areas because it's a habitat restoration site, with tiny little native plants growing. Look for bunnies, lizards, and red-tailed hawks!"

"Love this place! Its fairly new and although it's less than a 3 minute drive for us, we just recently started to go with the kids. They enjoy it and it's not at all straineous of a walk for little ones. We've hiked the Palos Verde trails before and this is a mini version of it. They have nice paths and it smells amazing after some rainfall due to all the locally grown plants and flowers. I'm assuming its dog friendly since there are no signs stating otherwise, just please clean up after your pets and keep them on a leash since there are rabbits roaming free and some people have even seen coyotes late at night. It's still being developed and I can see them working on more trails and pathways so hopefully it's done. The parking lot is always full but it's usually for people who are parked. We've gone when the whole lot was dull only to find ourselves the only ones on the path. I truly hope people don't f*ck it up somehow and get this place closed down. I would like to see it developed into more."
