Van Damme State Park

Stearns Champions Park
Stearns Champions Park, located at 4520 East 23rd Street in Long Beach, California, is a hidden gem tucked behind busy streets. This park offers night-lighted basketball and volleyball courts, two baseball diamonds, and plenty of open space for picnics. The park was originally a Long Beach Water Department well and recharges lands purchased in 1931. It was named after Able Stearns, a historical figure who bought Rancho Los Alamitos in the 1830s.
