"Be very careful with this sketchy firm. They are all about billing cadence and not about helping your mental health journey. I scheduled an appointment contingent on their getting insurance approval. I kept asking if they got it approved and told them to cancel appointment since they could not provide confirmation. They charged me $100 for non show. I have called several times, I have emailed them. I mailed a dispute letter to the address on their billing which was returned as undeliverable."

"I have a feeling this is gonna be a joke. They beat you down with the cancelation policy then the 2nd meeting with my therapist she abruptly drops me 53 minutes into the meeting. No response, no care to discuss just goodbye. Then they make you re-do all of the forms just to be seen by a new therapist which they said I wouldn't have to do. If this new therapist is another 25 year old I might just hang it up. UPDATE: I thought therapy was about discovery through a verbal back and forth and then coming to a resolution or possible reasons why things are the way they are with a patient? Not just some stranger listening for a 30 minute(supposed to be a 1 hour session) and then concluding with "I'm all talked out I guess I'm completely normal" and the therapist response "so when do you wanna do this again?" Where's the therapy, where's the science that goes into all this?? But Lifestance's strongest point is their attention to voicing through multiple contacts the insurance co-pays. They're really good at that. Why is this place even in business? Is this another dysfunctional California thing?? UPDATE: 11/21/23 Get ANOTHER surprise $20 bill 3 months after the last service and when I question it they get all annoyed and ticked off I even ask why and what this is for. Unprofessional children work the phones too! What a mess!"

"The amount of horrible experiences I have had with this team in less than a year is terrifying! A two-day notice that my psychiatrist wasn't going to be working there anymore (and they didn't give me a basic prescription refill) and I had to do the work of finding a new psychiatrist. But when I did find a new psychiatrist and schedule they canceled on me twice, then I had to find ANOTHER psychiatrist and They canceled another 3 times! Don't bother waisting your time! The details of my experiences are very disturbing including believe and gaslighting and if you don't have problems with rage when you started with them you will by the time your leaving!"
