Hands Together-A Center For Child is an award-winning preschool and childcare program located at 201 Civic Center Drive East in Santa Ana, California. We are dedicated to preparing young children for kindergarten and providing advanced early education to over 95 at-risk children each day. Our facility not only focuses on preschool preparation, but also works with working poor parents to enrich their lives and prepare them for the workplace. At Hands Together, we offer a unique preschool and workforce development program called The Morning Garden for housing-insecure families and families in transition. Our goal is to meet the academic and social needs of the predominantly Latino community in Santa Ana and prepare every student for successful entry into kindergarten.

Nuestra Alianza De Willits is a grassroots nonprofit organization located at 291 School Street in Willits, California. Our team of regulars and part-time volunteers are dedicated to making our community a healthier place to live. With sixteen members on the board of directors, we serve the Latino population in Willits and surrounding areas, as well as any community members who wish to join us. Our organization was founded in 2000 during an English as a second language class at Mendocino College, where students expressed a desire for more programs and services in the community. Determined to make a difference, the teacher and students decided to create Nuestra Alianza De Willits to provide these services themselves.
