Located at 7701 Krause Avenue in Oakland, California, the Arroyo Viejo Recreation Center is dedicated to providing top-notch programs and services for the youth of Oakland. As part of Oakland Parks, Recreation & Youth Development, the institution strives to meet the specific needs of individuals and communities at both the neighborhood and city-wide levels. Through intentional engagement and the removal of barriers, the center ensures equitable opportunities for all. Currently, the center is working on constructing a new, state-of-the-art facility with enhanced emergency preparedness capabilities. Additionally, the Duck Ponds at Lakeside Park are temporarily offline due to structural issues, but efforts are being made to find a solution.
