"I was a member of the Moose Lodge in Clearlake Oaks for about a year but really only took advantage of the membership for the last 6 months of the term as first impressions is not this lodge's strong point. People are nice enough until the usuals have too much to drink. On one occasion, one member, Dave, whom toutes a wedding ring was creepily eyeing me and another gentleman at the bar counting the drinks I was given because later in the evening he got very irritated wondering whether I was going to be "spreading my legs" for the gentleman and when I told him to mind his own business he called me a player. Management rarely takes action on anything except for those who come in smelling like cigarettes or marijuana even though crack & methamphetamines are smoked rampantly in the parking lot. I did talk to the higher ups whom stated that the Clearlake Oaks Moose Lodge is not long for the wear as they are not bringing the profits they should be...which is apparent in the dwindling crowds there. But with the mal company this lodge is keeping it is no wonder."
"The Moose Lodge was an excellent place for the meeting. The full bar was a good place to hang out and enjoy the nice ambiance. And if you're hankering for a great Wimpy Burger then stop by on Wednesdays and enjoy an excellent burger and suds."

"We planned on staying one night but we met these amazing people at this lodge. Decided to stay a 2nd night. So glad we did. They are a very generous lodge. The shower trailer was still on the property from when they had opened up to local fire evacuees. We were not part of the local evacuees but had just left an Oregon evacuated area so we could feel the generosity they offered. The 2020 california fires are devastating. Thank you to lodge 2284. We will be back next year for sure. Hopefully under better circumstance."
"The Moose Lodge is very community oriented. The members are always trying to do right for our community and it's just a good organization to belong to. The Moose members are good people. Our community is lucky to have them here. Food is always good and the price is right."
